Completely exceeded my expectations!
This trip completely exceeded my expectations! From the incredible wildlife sightings in the Maasai Mara, to getting to know our Maasai guides while walking through beautiful landscapes and camping in the wilderness, to relaxation and the sensational photography hide at Shompole, this was a brilliant experience, made even better by the company of a wonderful group of like-minded women. Thank you for a truly memorable adventure!

I will be back
This was sold to me as a once in a lifetime trip, but I can’t wait to do it again! The traditional safari elements were great - we saw pretty much all the wildlife we wanted to on the game drives, and Spekes Camp is a perfect rustic/boutique camp - but the walking section of this itinerary was really special for me. It was physically challenging, which I wanted, but was also a total switch off from everyday life, which I clearly needed. Walking with Maasai guides and learning about their lives and traditions was fascinating, and we had to trust them with our lives when they were tracking some rather large animals close to our route. Kim was an excellent tour leader, with extensive knowledge of Kenya, the wildlife and the Maasai. She also changed the itinerary to fit the group’s needs each day, which was always appreciated. And she makes a fantastic (strong) G&T sun downer. Strongly recommend this trip to anyone who is up for a challenge but also likes creature comforts. This had it all. I will be back.

One of the most incredible experiences I have had.
This trip was one of the most incredible experiences I have had. Entering the animal kingdom of unknown rules guided by true experts who ensured we saw all of the masai mara having breakfast with the hippos, lunch with the bush bucks and every animal i could dream of. Walking the trails with the masai was an honour and a privilege to share their land and take in all the views. With hospitality that was like magic, I'm still blown away by just how much they did and catered for us. Shompole was the next experience of true relaxation in a beautiful camp where we got to immerse ourselves in masai life walking with the farmers and their cows, visiting their homes and coming face to face with elephants at eye level in a special hide. I never thought I get to visit Africa as a single female but walking wild gave me an opportunity to visit this magical place.

The very best Kenya has to offer
This perfectly balanced trip takes in the very best of what Kenya has to offer - outstanding game watching, being immersed in Nature and glimpsing the life of the Maasai throughout the trek and ending with some rest and relaxation with a pool, the river and some Maasai culture. Go!

- BellaThank you, thank you, thank you for all that you brought to the most wonderfully rich holiday
I hope you are rightfully proud of what you have pulled together from all your years of experience - you led the group with such a light, warm and firm touch and shine out as a safe pair of hands. I hope, for you, it was as trouble free as it seemed. It was lovely to hear from the depth of your experience in the communities you have known and worked with and such a pleasure seeing how this extends to the people and places you have chosen to create the wonderful menu for our involvement in the different facets of the trip. For me, it was a perfect mix of game, the wilderness. Each place offering so much in itself and through the people you work with. Finishing up with the simple luxury of Shompole was HEAVEN! so much experienced in a relaxed way in what was really a very short time, the treasures of being in the hide, swimming, tubing, bird watching, walking with the cattle and the visit to the boma. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you brought to the most wonderfully rich holiday for me
